To become a licensed architect according to the New York state office of the profession you should have a good moral character, you should be at the age of 21. The bachelor of architecture will be obtained in 5 years. You can also get a certificate from a master of architecture from the accredited school. You will be permitted to work on the specific project in the New York. For this you should have business and you should not be a resident of the state. Your applications has to be approved, and an applicant has to pass the ARE examination to get the architect license in New York.
