Learn more about Splunk careers and how you can become a part of our journey!We are looking for a Business Architect with experience in guiding companies through their on-prem to cloud business model transformation.\u00A0 Reporting to the head of GTM Business Architecture, you will be a founding member of the team and a key contributor in establishing fundamental methodologies, standards, and models that will shape the future of Splunk\u2019s GTM Operations.\u00A0 You will also work on key initiatives to develop new and / or significantly mature core business capabilities to fully enable our business strategy and meet the expectations of our customers, partners, and employees.Requirements: I\u2019ve done / have that!Deep expertise in one or more GTM business capability domains (e.g., customer success, sales operations, partner), with basic fluency in all GTM domainsSolid experience in a high growth, software / SaaS environmentExperience in executive / senior leadership communication in all forms, including formal presentations, narratives, and slidesDeveloped methodologies and standards to drive consistent operations and / or understanding across different business functionsDesigned business processes, leveraging a standard and repeatable approach for ease of future useGoverned quality of work product for either junior team members or an informal communityFacilitated workshops to understand the actual root cause of a stated problem, aka \u201Cpeeling back the onion\u201DExperience executing design thinking principles to provide clarity, encourage ideation, and focus on the right solutionMentored junior professionals to think critically and outside the boxDeveloped complex intellectual models and translate / communicate into executable actionsDefined \u201Cwhat good looks like\u201D based on a set of guiding principlesResponsibilities: I can and / or really want to do that!Own the business process management function by maintaining the business operations framework, business process guidelines, and quality standards to ensure a common language and handoff expectations across GTM OperationsWork with executive / senior leadership, business owners, and program teams to influence operations that enable key strategic directionDevelop and maintain key business architecture reference models including capability maps & definitions and collaborate with IT Enterprise Architects to drive cohesive methodology across the enterpriseServe as the dedicated Business Architect for 1-2 GTM Operations Pillars (e.g., Opportunity to Order, Customer Success) to influence the maturity roadmap of the pillar, including identifying architecture risks, foundational capabilities, and implementation sequencingAssess the maturity of GTM capabilities, determine cross-functional dependencies, and develop an overall roadmap to mature GTM capabilities in a reasonable timeframeApply thought leadership to develop brand new capabilities and educate appropriate stakeholders for ease of adoption and rapid enablementAssess GTM project requests to determine the high-level business architecture impactMentor and coach the business process & architecture \u201Ccenter of practice\u201D to broaden informal influence throughout and beyond GTM OperationsMaintain up-to-date knowledge of key leading practices in Business Architecture / Process and GTM through participation in external societies / eventsQualifications: That\u2019s me!Bachelor\u2019s degree / foreign equivalent in business, information technology, or related discipline.\u00A0 Slightly preferred: MS / MBA6 years of experience in one or a combination of: business operations, process analysis, compliance / risk management, management / IT consultingFamiliar with business process management methodology.\u00A0 Strongly preferred: enterprise / business architecture methodology (e.g., TOGAF, BOST)Experience working in highly ambiguous environments with broadly defined problem statementsSplunk is an Equal Opportunity Employer.\u00A0
