We are looking for a cybersecurity architect who is passionate about the cybersecurity and have experienced with cloud security architecture, well versed with leading cloud service provider platforms, security patterns & blueprints development and documentation. You will have the opportunity to work with the latest cloud technologies used in Humana to serve the members and make a difference to improve their health.

Responsibilities

Security Architect is responsible for the design and blueprinting of security infrastructures to enable the protection of Humana tools, data, systems, and networks. This role is responsible for designing, and proposing architectural blueprints or security enhancements for Humana's information security and technology infrastructures.. The role engages with relevant EIP stakeholders to identify current and emerging security threats and works to design security architecture elements to mitigate threats as they emerge. Additionally, the role actively works to identify gaps within existing EIP reference architecture and designs updates to impacted security architecture elements to mitigate emerging threats. The Security Architect 2 plans security systems by evaluating network and security technologies; developing security requirements for various types of technologies, hardware and software; adhering to industry standards.

Understands department, segment, and organizational strategy and operating objectives, including their linkages to related areas. Makes decisions regarding own work methods, occasionally in ambiguous situations, and requires minimal direction and receives guidance where needed. Follows established guidelines/procedures.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree

5 years of technical cyber security architecture experience

Experience integrating Cyber Security technologies with existing technologies

Experience implementing Cyber Security technologies with enterprise-wide impact

Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences

Cloud Security certification such as CCSP, CCSK or similar

Preferred Qualifications

Master's Degree in Technical Field

CISSP or CEH or similar certification

Additional Information

Humana and its subsidiaries require vaccinated associates who work outside of their home to submit proof of vaccination, including COVID-19 boosters. Associates who remain unvaccinated must either undergo weekly negative COVID testing OR wear a mask at all times while in a Humana facility or while working in the field.

Remote/WAH requirements:

WAH requirements: Must have the ability to provide a high speed DSL or cable modem for a home office. Associates or contractors who live and work from home in the state of California will be provided payment for their internet expense.

A minimum standard speed for optimal performance of 25x10 (25mpbs download x 10mpbs upload) is required.

Satellite and Wireless Internet service is NOT allowed for this role.
