Rate: $90/hr Role: Android Architect Infosys/Charter Communication Denver, CO( Day 1 onsite ) JD: Contribute to and provide technical support and guidance to the Operations development staff. This position will be expected to contribute to areas dealing with software implementation, design, service architecture, compliance, and strategy in the delivery of high-quality software solutions. MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Maintain high software quality standards within the team by establishing good practices and habits. Collaborate with other software developers, business analysts, and software architects to plan, design, develop, test, document, and maintain web-based business applications. Design, develop, and unit test applications in accordance with established standards. Participate in peer reviews of solution designs and related code. Package and support deployment of releases, including CI automation workflows. Develop, refine, and tune integrations between applications. Assess application and process improvement opportunities and prepare documentation of rationale to share with team members and other affected parties. Responsible for compliance with company engineering standards, policies, and procedures. Must to Have: 12 years of experience Previous experience with Android Studio and Android SDK tools. Experience with Kotlin Coroutines. Strong software engineering experience in Java/Kotlin, or equivalent with high proficiency in object-oriented design principles and functional programming. Experience working on large scale mobile projects leveraging rigid and complex architectural patterns. Solid analytical and troubleshooting abilities. Deep knowledge of Android architecture. General understanding of infrastructure as code and CI/CD pipelines and the willingness to learn more. Basic experience with the AWS platform. Extensive experience designing and developing enterprise-grade software. Experience with source control management systems and continuous integration/deployment environments. Experience with automated testing. Expert knowledge of developing, testing, and debugging mobile applications using Android/Kotlin/Java. Comprehensive understanding of object-oriented and service-oriented application development techniques and theories. Internally motivated, able to work proficiently both independently and in a team environment. Strong communication skills with both internal team members and external business stakeholders. Strong initiative to find ways to improve solutions, systems, and processes. Good to have: Experience with AWS Infrastructure Experience with Gitlab CI/C
