Role Overview:
As a Design Project Manager (Design PM) with our company, you will play a key role in leading the design process for infrastructure work packages. You will be responsible for coordinating the design team, managing design deliverables, and ensuring compliance with design standards and project specifications. Your expertise in design management and coordination will be critical in achieving project objectives and creating exceptional designs.
Responsibilities:
Lead the design process for infrastructure work packages, following RIBA 0–3 stages.
Coordinate with stakeholders to understand project requirements and develop design briefs.
Manage the design team, ensuring effective collaboration and timely deliverables.
Conduct design reviews, identify risks, and propose mitigation strategies.
Ensure compliance with design standards, regulations, and project specifications.
Provide technical guidance and support to the design team throughout the project lifecycle.
Collaborate with other project teams, including architects, engineers, and contractors, to integrate design elements into the overall project plan.
Monitor project progress, track design changes, and manage design–related issues.
Requirements:
Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Design Project Manager (Design PM), specifically in RIBA 0–3 design of infrastructure work packages.
Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar tools.
Strong knowledge of RIBA stages, design coordination, and compliance requirements.
Excellent leadership and communication skills.
Strong problem–solving abilities and attention to detail.
Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
