Architectural Technologist Jobs description
An architectural technologist is responsible for assisting architects, engineers and project managers; working with designers to provide redline drafting; preparing detailed drawings, layouts, sketches, maps, and graphic representations of architectural designs; making use of computers and architecture related softwares; attending project related meetings and/or training sessions; assisting in preparation of training documents; helping others in meeting project deadlines; visiting clients\' project sites and premises; making various views of project buildings; preparing schematics and performing other tasks assigned by an architectural engineer or architectural manager. An architectural technologist typically reports to an architectural engineering manager or architect.An architectural technologist should have a bachelor\'s degree in architecture engineering. Excellent academic credentials are essential. Prior experience as an architectural technologist may be advantageous. Strong ability to visualize graphics and interpret things quickly is essential.
