Landscape Architect Jobs description
Landscape architects are designers of public parks, fountains, playgrounds, shopping centers, parkways etc. They regulate and arrange trees, shrubs, and plants to make a green environment and add to the beauty of the places. Landscape architects work primarily with real estate organizations, with architects, surveyors, and engineers. They also work with environmentalists and conservationists and help in the conservation of nature. For their architectural designs, landscape architects make use of AutoCAD. Landscape architects also work for government agencies and help in creating national parks and sanctuaries, waterfront projects etc. Landscape architects plan designs and models of architecture and also chalk out cost estimates.To become a Landscape architect, a bachelor's or master's degree in landscape architecture is necessary. There are two undergraduate professional degrees: a Bachelor of Landscape architecture (BLA) and a Bachelor of Science in Landscape architecture (BSLA) which require about four to five years to get completed. The Master of Landscape architecture (MLA) takes three years to get completed and can be pursued after any other degree too.
